About us
Livio offers involuntarily childless couples and women high-quality IVF treatments with the best results in the most efficient way.

Our Vision
Our vision is to consistently be a leader in the European IVF market through care, innovation, and research. We achieve this by staying at the forefront of the latest treatment methods, based on ongoing research and development, and by making them accessible to as many involuntarily childless couples and women as possible.
By being the most successful and highly regarded IVF organization in the Nordic region, we are also the most attractive employer within both private and public IVF operations in our market.
Our mission
To achieve our vision, we continuously work with our quality system and are deeply committed to ongoing research and development. In addition, Livio is part of a network, IVI RMA, which enables professional development for our staff, access to the latest research, and the very latest technology in reproductive medicine.
Our History
At the beginning of the 2000s, in vitro fertilization (IVF) was still a medical practice that operated quietly. With changing lifestyle factors and people having children later in life, the general demand for IVF steadily increased. However, public healthcare did not have the resources to help all involuntarily childless couples, and waiting times could be several years.
IVF-kliniken Stockholm AB, now Livio AB, was founded in 2000 by Dr. Steffan Lundberg and Associate Professor Håkan Wramsby to increase access to IVF in the Stockholm area. Over the years, increased accessibility, simplified treatment processes for patients, and the dissemination of the latest IVF expertise in Sweden have been guiding principles for the owners and founders.
Today, the group performs about 8,500 IVF treatments at nine clinics in Sweden, Norway, and Iceland, making the Livio Group the largest player in the Nordics in assisted reproduction and reproductive medicine.
