You should always feel safe when you provide your personal data to any of Livio's clinics or operations. Through this privacy policy, we want to show how we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation. We value your personal integrity and your continued trust.
Information about how the Livio clinics process personal data about you is provided through this privacy policy. For you as a patient, information is also provided in connection with your first visit to us.

Data Controller
Livio is the data controller for Livio's processing of your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that the processing is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation. Contact details can be found below under the paragraph "Contact details".
What personal data is collected?
Care recipient
We collect and process the personal data necessary to provide you with the care you have requested, such as your name, your social security number, your contact details, information in your medical record and, where applicable, your billing address.
The information is collected from the National Population Register (SPAR) and directly from you, e.g. in connection with you providing information before and during your visit or providing us with copies of your medical records. The information is also collected directly from the county council or region to which you belong.
Company representatives
Livio collects and processes the personal data necessary for us to contact you in your capacity as a representative of a company or organization, such as your name, contact details, position and, where applicable, invoice details.
The information is usually collected directly from the company or organization you represent, but also directly from you. If necessary, we use external information services to supplement the information.
Website visitors
Livio collects (via Google Analytics) and processes personal data about you who visit our websites ( www.livio.se , www.livio.is , www.livio.no , www.barnmorskemottagningen.se , www.livioeggbank.se , www.liviospermbank.se and www.liviospermbank.com ) in the form of technical information, such as IP address and device information, which is needed for us to be able to analyze the use of and develop our websites. The personal data is collected in connection with your visit to our website.
Recruitment
Livio collects and processes the personal data needed to recruit relevant and qualified personnel, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number and CV.
The information is collected directly from you when you apply for a position with us.

Social media
In this context, personal data is any information by which you can be personally identified. Please check carefully which personal data you share with us via Facebook. As long as you are logged into your Facebook account and visit our Facebook profile, Facebook can assign this to your Facebook profile. We expressly point out that Meta, as an operator of Facebook, stores data about its users (e.g. personal data, IP address, etc.) and can also use this data for business purposes. Livio AB has no influence over Facebook's data collection or further processing of data, nor to what extent, where and how long the data is stored by Facebook. We are not responsible for whether Facebook complies with existing deletion obligations, what evaluations and connections Facebook makes with the data and to whom Facebook forwards the data. If you want to prevent Facebook from processing personal data that you have transferred to us, please contact us in another way. To the extent that the data that you provide to us via Facebook is also or exclusively processed by Meta in its capacity as an operator of Facebook (insights data), Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland, is also the controller for the data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this respect, the data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR, which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum .
For the use of certain Facebook applications or products, e.g. the so-called “Facebook Business Tools”, and for data processing carried out as a result thereof, there is also an additional agreement between us and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. as joint controller in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR, which can be read here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum
The data controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We process personal data to ensure that you are you and to be able to provide safe and good care. For suppliers and partners, your data is needed to fulfill agreed agreements.
Your personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. Data will also be stored for the period of time we are required to store your personal data by law, or for as long as it is required to safeguard our legal interests.
Some personal data will, in order to comply with relevant accounting legislation, be stored for seven years, calculated from the end of the calendar year in which the financial year to which the information belonged ended.
Contact information for company representatives is stored for the period we assess that the data is necessary to maintain the relationship with the company or organization. Deletion occurs when we become aware that the data is no longer adequate or relevant for the purpose, or when a company representative so requests
Livio aims to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. Livio does not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA other than as set out below. If personal data is transferred to any country outside the EU/EEA, Livio will take steps to ensure that the personal data continues to be protected and will also take the necessary steps to legally transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.
Livio uses software providers (e.g. Google and Facebook/Meta) with servers in the USA. Through our use of these providers' services and software, your personal data may be transferred to the USA. The personal data we collect about you through your use of Livio's websites may be transferred to Google in the USA, through Google Analytics. Livio has ensured that your rights are guaranteed when transferred to the USA by signing the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses with the providers. Your rights
Right to register extracts
Provided that Livio is the data controller of your personal data, you have the right, at any time, to obtain, free of charge, a register extract with information about the personal data registered about you, the purposes of the processing of this personal data and information about where this personal data has been obtained, as well as to which recipients the data has been or will be disclosed. You also have the right to receive information in the register extract about the envisaged period during which the data will be stored or the criteria used to determine this period. The request for access to such information must be in writing and sent to Livio at the address specified below under the heading “Contact information”.
Right to data portability
You have the right to data portability, that is, the right to obtain and transfer your personal data to another data controller under certain conditions in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to rectification, completion and deletion
Livio will, at your request or on its own initiative, correct, de-identify, supplement or delete data that is found to be incorrect, incomplete or misleading. In some cases, we are obliged to process your personal data even though you have requested that it be deleted.
Right to restriction of processing and right to object
Under certain circumstances, you may request restriction of the continued processing of your personal data (for example, if you question whether the personal data is accurate or whether the processing is lawful) as well as a right to object to the processing under the conditions permitted by applicable personal data legislation.
Complaint
Please contact us if you are dissatisfied with our processing of your personal data. We will then do our best to respond to your complaints. Your privacy is very important to us and we always strive to protect your personal data in a relevant and secure manner. If, despite this, in your opinion, we fail to do so, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority.
