Longer waiting times for region-funded treatment with donated sperm
Important information for those about to undergo region-funded sperm donation treatment.
Region Stockholm has decided that all region-funded fertility treatments must be conducted only with sperm donated at Karolinska University Hospital. This means that there may be longer waiting times for your publicly funded sperm donation treatment. Previously, we were able to use sperm donated at our own sperm bank, which resulted in short waiting times and a quick start of treatment. We hope this situation will change in the near future and ask for your patience in the meantime.
